Christmas Vacation!!

We are back from our trip home. It

was so nice to be amongst family for the holidays. We had so much fun, staying up late, eating lots of junk food, watching  movies  and playing games. The trip started with Jaxon and I flying out early by ourselves. I was very nervous for the trip, but Jaxon was a champ. He slept for about an hour and half and watched Baby Einstein the other hour and half. I was shocked when i got to Portland and saw all of the snow. I was suppose to be leaving the snow in Chicago. Not coming to the snow. Oh well. Luckily Jeff got in on Friday night and we headed to medford Saturday morning. We had an early Christmas present Kylee Jean Sherwood came to this world on the 20th. She was a whopping 4lbs 5 oz and about 4 weeks early. 

She is so beautiful. We got to stop by the hospital before heading down to medford to see her.   It was a great treat to be the first family to meet her.  

While  in medford we hung out with family, played ping pong, dance dance revolution, games, food, food and more food.

We had a fun time opening presents on the web cam with Jason and Aimee and the kids. It was the next best thing to having them there. It was fun to see the kids jumping up and down over what Santa brought. Jaxon had a great time meeting new people and being entertained by his uncles. Thanks Jods and Dan for all of laughs that you got out of Jaxon. From one party to the next we then headed back up to Portland to hang out with the Sherwood side of the family. While in Portland we were really busy. We played lots of games, rock banded it up, 

 and got to experience a great baby blessing. Thanks Jeremy and Chels for letting us be a part of the wonderful moment. We had family pictures which are always fun to see all of the adults trying to make the kids smile. All in All i think they should turn out pretty good.

I also got to go to dinner with my best friends from high school, it had been about 2 years since we had seen each other.  It so so fun to sit and catch up!! 

We had fun with family and it was really hard to leave. It is hard to be the only one away from family but i know it is only for a short time. We made it home from Portland with only minor problems. (Jaxon threw up all over in the airport) other then that we are home safe and sound. 

 It is almost that we need a vacation after our vacation because we are so tired from all of the fun. Just wanted to thank all of the family that made this Christmas so much fun!! We love you all and are so grateful that we have the family that we have!!! Love you all!! Miss ya!!
