Trip to Chicago!!

Now that Jeff is done with his first year of podiatry school, we took my mom downtown Chicago. It was really fun to go and spend the day seeing the sights. We were able to go on a bus tour and go all over the city. Clumsy me.. right after we bought the ticket I went into the bathroom and came out with no ticket. We looked everywhere for the ticket and it was gone. We thought that we were going to have to buy a new one.. but luckily the manager was in the store we bought the ticket at and he was the God of the buses. He wrote on my receipt and we were able to use that. Thank goodness. Just bad luck on my part. We learned some very fun facts about the city. In March for st patties day they dye the river green. but the funny thing is they use orange dye to change the color. We saw Oprah's apartment, well really the whole floor. We saw solider field and Jeff was in heaven. We got some Garrett's popcorn and a free Hershey bar!! Yummy!!! Jaxon was yet again an angel all day long. He didn't make a peep until we got back in the car. He was hungry... I don't blame him the smell of the garrets Carmel crunch popcorn will make anyone hungry.
